Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Greetings!

After installing Win 10 Pro x64 on my old HP ProBook 4530s I've encountered a serious problem with booting time. After system starts up and windows logo apears i'm getting a black screen for 2-3 minutes and only after that login screen is shown. This problem apears after installing drivers for integrated AMD HD 7400M video card. It does not metter if driver was installed from Window Update or from AMD site. Situation is the same.

Maybe too little too late, but this has to do with the driver for the AMD Radeon HD 7400M Series card. Some time ago, an updated driver "broke" the Ultra Low Power State (ULPS) feature, causing this long boot time.

Although it saves energy, it will take the computer a long time to start up or to wake up from a sleep.

To get around this, use regedit to find all the values "EnableUlps" and change their value data from 1 to 0. The problem should be solved. The side-effect is that the computer will use up the battery faster, unfortunately.
