ENVY x360 15-bq101ur
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!  I have installed Win10 PRO and enabled virtualizaion in bios.  Than I have installed Hyper-V.

After reboot system is not starting with virtualization.  Only if I disabling virtualization windows started successfully.

The system has lastest updates.

I found. Version 23.20.817.0 at 08.01.2018 fix it.

HP Support Assistant can't update to this version now.  Sadly.

How did you get this to work?

I have a HP Envy x360  and when Hyper V is enabled and Virtualisation is enabled in the BIOS Windows cannot boot. I have been through two HP agents and 5 Microsoft agents and after faffing around for days, updating, restarting, even reinstalling WIndows - none of them have come up with a reason or a fix.

The AMD Ryzen 5 2500U has SVM which supports AMD virtualisation

it also has NP, supporting Nested Page Tables and SLAT (Second Level Address Translation)

So this PC should be able to run virtualisation and programs like Docker or Hyper Visor without issue.

WHEN IS HP GOING TO ADDRESS THIS PROBLEM PLEASE?
