Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My notebook come up with this Windows 10 Preparing Automatic Repair

I had a look on the threads etc did all the troubleshooting 

Opened up the notebook to see if maybe cables had come out for whatever reason all looks ok 

So now I think it's my HDD I am gutted I cannot retrieve my data but hey not the first time won't be last

But my question is how or where do I get a new HDD loaded with drivers and operating system

Can anyone help please

No, you can't get this easy. I don't think someone to do that. You have few options, one option is perform a fresh install of Windows 10 on new HDD.

 

Since your machine previously ran Windows 10, you can do a clean install W10 for free by using the media creation tool at the link below.


    https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10


The tool will allow you to make a bootable installation media (USB/DVD) and you can use installation media to install.

During the installation process if you are asked to enter a product key, check the 'Skip' box and W10 will install and then automatically activate once you are connected to the internet using the key embedded in BIOS of your machine.

 

Then you can install the drivers and available software you need from your PC's support page. Normally few Windows 10 updates can install nearly all drivers for you.

I have got a new hdd

I will try and make a boot able USB or dvd as soon as I can I will post my finding soon I am away from home at this time

Big thank you for pointing me in the right direction 

I sadly couldn't get my 2t hdd to go again I have lost so much I am truly gutted I have thousands of family photos gone and a lot of artwork.

I did buy a new hdd used another laptop To make a USB boot booted from USB laptop did the rest.
