I keep getting notices that windows is going to update, but every time i check the update status, I see the "we found some issues" message. When i try to Fix the Issues, I get the message that my PC can't run windows 10. Since it is running windows 10, I don't really understand what that means. I tried the Windows Update Troubleshooter and it said it fixed the issues and to try again, but it just does the same thing over and over.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi,

Install the latest BIOS from here:

https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/swdetails/hp-spectre-15-ch000-x360-convertible-pc/1...

then you can update. You can update from this Microsoft page which is usually easier by clicking on update now:

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

Take a look at this article I wrote which could also help in the procedure:

https://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/Notebooks-Knowledge-Base/New-notebook-running-slow/ta-p/7057949

Hope it helps,

David

So I tried the Windows 10 Update Assistant ... it gave me the same message that says "PC can't run Windows 10" and then it gave me this message

Did you install the latest BIOS I linked in the reply above?

Do you have external peripherals attached to the PC?

Let me know,

David

So, I finally got around to trying to update the BIOS via the link you provided. Looks like that did the trick as the update downloaded and installed fine. Thanks for the help.
