I recently had to reset my laptop to factory settings because the internet just disappeared for no reason. When I did, the windows 10 activation prompt keeps coming up despite the fact that it should just activate automatically, like it had done with previous resets. When I look at the activation settings to troubleshoot, this is exactly what it says:
Product key: No product key found
Something interrupted our troubleshooting. Make sure you're connected to the internet, wait a few minutes and try again.
Error code: 0x80004005
There is nothing wrong with my internet connection now, and I have tried troubleshooting with Microsoft already to try and find the product key, they could not find it, it seems to be missing suddenly from the computer entirely. Both Microsoft and the supplier of this computer have both told me to contact the manufacturer, which is HP. I seems genuinely impossible to speak to anyone at HP directly though.
I will repeat again, I have already tried to get the product code from the computer itself, using the command prompt:
wmicpath SoftwareLicensingService get OA3xOriginalProductKey
It says this:
Node - LAPTOP-8B3SSVIB
ERROR:
Description =
I need to get the product key from HP itself, does anyone know how?
Thanks

MS constantly pushes their Window off onto HP -- despite the fact that HP keeps no records of individual Windows product keys associated with individual PCs -- so there is no way for HP to get your key back and they won't provide you a second key.
In addition, this error message is an Activation Server error -- meaning that the MS activation servers can not be contacted -- which happens because they go down from time to time. This is an MS problem -- not an HP problem. Not surprised that MS would not tell you that and admit to it -- nothing is every their mistake!
I guess I should NOT be surprised that MS could not "find" the key -- because it's not actually stored in any of the drives on the PC! It is stored in the firmware of the motherboard and this utility should be able to find it for you: ShowKeyPlus - Windows 10 Forums
