Hi, I want to install a new hard disk in my laptop and install linux on it, but the BIOS points to the Windows boot manager and can't be changed. Could you tell me what files I will need co copy over from Wndows to enable me to boot directly into Linux. I can press F9 and select the Linux .efi file but I'd rather have  an automatic boot. Thanks a lot

Nick

Sorry, but HP does not provide Linux support -- including boot and installation issues.

Your best support option is to contact the support forum of the Linux distro you are using.
