HP Omen 17 - cb0011nv
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello there, I recently got a system update message notifying me that build 2004 is finally available for download and installation on my HP Omen 17 - cb0011nv laptop. Has anyone installed said update on this laptop? Been wondering, as I 've heard the issues lots of people had with it and it' s only now that it is available for download for me (up to now I just had the notification that my laptop isn' t "compatible" yet). Thanks in advance!

I reviewed your post and I understand that you want to know whether there are any known issues with the latest Windows update.

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

You can go ahead and install the update as I do not see any known issues for your model.

I hope that answers your question and you have a great day!

Seems  I was too hasty. Laptop worked the first time after I installed 2004 build, but after the second time it seems there's a conflict of some sort with the video card. As soon as I load a game (RDR 2, for that matter), a buzzing sound occurs and I get abysmally low FPS, game was practically uplayable. Had to revert back to previous build, works as usual Other than that,  laptop worked with the 2004 build (no connectivity problems of any kind or anything else), but since we' re talking about a gaming laptop, keeping 2004 build makes no sense I' m afraid...
