HP ENVY 17-j130ea Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, HP have decided to delete links to the relevant software and drivers for my HP Envy 17-j130ea Notebook, using Windows 10. Can someone please guide me in the right direction to fix my install? I'm very disappointed with HP after this - I'm in the market to buy a new laptop shortly and this has led me to cross HP products off the list! It's an old device but, in effect, they've broken it by their decision not to support it.

Their non-support another criticism of HP. Windows update supplied the necessary drivers except for a curious conflict produced with HP audio/beats drivers meaning the audio is dreadful. Ironically the audio/beats drivers were the only ones that could be sourced easily having not been discontinued on other models. I made one install of Windows, installed the audio drivers before Windows update and the audio was working normally. But having installed all manner of crud to find the other missing drivers before discovering the missing drivers in Windows Update ready to install I reinstalled Windows afresh and installed the Windows updates immediately. That's when I discovered the HP audio drivers were then seen as 'incompatible'. So, anyone attempting to fix the Envy 17 bear this in mind.
