Product: HP 255 G8 Notebook PC (347S5AV)
Operating System: Ubuntu LTS
Hi
We know that:
- it is possible to run a Windows10 or 11 in a free Oracle "Virtual Box" environment
- to run Oracle "Virtual box" on a Linux distro (e.g. Fedora or Ubuntu )
- Linux much more reliable than Win on security issues and troubles (viruses are not so common in Linux)
My G8 255 laptop comes with the Microsoft key of a Windows 10 pre-installed.
Is it possible to "move it" inside an Oracle "Virtual box", which runs inside a Linux distro?
Can I take the Microsoft key and install Win 11 inside the Linux environment?
P.S. I have some tool that work only in MS Win, so it is not possible for me to 100% migrate to Linux.
Thank you
Alberto
