I've been using Windows 7 Professional on my laptop. I know that I have recently asked how to install missing drivers on my Laptop. However, I had a problem: Many applications that I wanted ran much slower on Windows 7. Some of them weren't even supported on my PC. It made sense for me to download an ISO of Windows 10. However, It didn't work. When I tried to install Windows 10, It sent an error that read "Windows Installation has failed". I cannot confirm It meets all the minimum requirements. It has 4 GB of ram, 1600 x 900 display, keyboard and mouse, 371 GB of empty disk space, and Internet access. I do not know what my Processor or Graphics Card is. How can I know? How can I install Windows on "unsupported hardware"?

Hi:
Your notebook should meet the minimum requirements to install W10, but HP does not support any g7 notebook for W10.
Did you try the in-place upgrade to W10 by clicking on the blue Update Now button at the link below?
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
Usually that works.

On one hand, your solution could work. Updating to the latest version of Windows 10 is possible. That screenshot is exactly what I saw on my Pavilion g7. However, on the other hand, when I tried to open the program, it said the May 2021 update was not compatible because of the operating system. The Storage, Memory (RAM), and CPU were compatible. It simply didn't have the correct operating system. If I cannot upgrade the operating system because it was incompatible, then how does it work now?

OK, so you clicked on that update now button and got an error that indicated that version W10 was not supported.
The only suggestion I can offer under those circumstance would be to try installing an older version of W10 and see if that works.
I'm going to give you a version from 2 years ago...version 1909
Download the ISO file and use the Microsoft tool I zipped up and attached below transfer the ISO file to a USB flash drive, or you can use a free utility such as Rufus for this purpose.
Rufus - Create bootable USB drives the easy way
The open the flash drive from within Windows, and click on the setup application you see listed there.
Hopefully, Windows will upgrade to that version and you can then try to upgrade it to the latest version from there.
If not, you will have to live with W7.
