Hello guys,
I'm dealing with windows 10 disc image installation issue on my computer.
Actually on hp website the computer HP Notebook - 14-cf0012dx serial number [Personal Information Removed]
is compatible with windows 10 version 20H2(64-bit). But the latest available Windows 10 iso file image to install with usb drive to download from windows website is version 22H2. When I try to reinstall this version, it fails at step 2 that means at installation step with the message "the files for windows installation are missing", I copied the Intel Rapid Storage Technology (IRST) file on the drive, but this .exe file doesn't appear on the usb drive to be loaded. What can be the issue?
Thanks for your guidance

What was the originally installed version of Windows that your laptop was delivered with?
The specifications show Windows 10 Home in S mode
I see that a win-10-2004-english-x-64_202010 iso available at the Internet Archive. It is legal and safe to get the ISO from there.

You can use RUFUS to create an installer and get the driver software, including the IRST software from the HP support driver download web page for your laptop.

@Erico, thank you soo much for your suggestion. Actually your proposed solution solved the same problem but for the HP 250 notebook, Product N° 2R9H2EA.
As per the HP EliteBook 840 G3, at the second step of the installation using the Iso file from the link you suggested, there appears this tmessage " Some required files for installation are missing. Please, provide with all the required files and try installing again "
Thank you for your help.
