Product: Notebook HP G62-b06SL
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
Good morning,
I own a Hp G62 laptop with AMD Athlon II P340 processor.
The operating system was originally Windows 7.
I upgraded to Windows 10 without any particular problems.
To try to improve performance I was going to replace the disk with an SSD model and redo a clean installation of Window 10.
Unfortunately, the installation stops with the request for an unspecified driver: "A driver needed for your computer is missing. It could be a driver for DVD, USB or hard disk. If you have a USB flash drive, a Driver CD, insert it now "
On the HP support site I don't find any .inf file, which I seem to understand is the required format, but only executables to be installed once an operating system is active.
Bios diagnostics do not detect any problems with the hard disk.
Do you have anything to suggest?

Hi:
With what type of media are you trying to clean install W10 with?
Did you have the media creation tool make a bootable USB flash drive, or did you download the ISO file and later burn it to a DVD?
W10 should not need any special drivers to install on that old model PC, so most likely there is something wrong with the installation media.
