HP Probook
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)
  • Good day to you,people.
  • Sadly,yesterday my pc ran into an unexpected error,following a blue screen and a message "collecting data".
  • After it finished collecting data,the pc restarted.However,all of my apps were gone.
  • And also,I can't do anything,I can't even open task manager.Whenever I try to press the "windows" icon it says "Windows 10 not responding".
  • Is my pc done for,or can it be saved?

@AskJeeves

We have no way of knowing, and no way of finding out from here.

A Bluescreen (BSOD) can be almost anything, ranging from serious filesystem and/or software errors, to serious hardware errors.  They generate a Stop Code and you can look up that information on the Internet to see what solutions are recommended.  You often find posts in the Microsoft forums with instructions.

We don't get involved in BSOD debugging because they are far too complex and extensive for us to deal with.
