Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Windows 10 "This PC" ("My Computer") shows my Photosmart C6180 as  disk drive!!  However, the printer does work when I print from an app.

@AlpineJazz

Hello;
Allow me to welcome you to the HP forums!

Don't know about this specific printer, but most modern printers have USB ports -- and those can be considered as "drives" by Windows.

My printers each have USB ports and those all show up as drives in File Explorer.

In the meantime, I disabled the "drive".  The disk icon disappeared from "This PC", so I don't have to see this ridiculous symbol any more.  The printer and everything else continue to work properly, so I consider the problem solved.  Thanks again for your help, WAWood.
