Instead of clean installing Windows, I recommend that you use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall Windows, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.

You can download the software from the Microsoft Store.

If you have to use the utility on another PC, you will need to enter the notebook's product number in the tool's search window in order to proceed to make the recovery media.

Hi, I did as you suggested and everything was fine until the last part where it says continue. Then I restart the PC and nothing happens and it's the same as before. The last part doesn't appear software is being installed. . what should I do

Hi:
The only suggestion I can offer would be to set the date in the BIOS to the PC's 'Born on' date and see if that gets the tool to work.
Sometimes the trial software's license expiration date messes up things with the tool.
If that doesn't work either, you will have to clean install Windows and you will have to live with what software you can get from the Support page and the Microsoft Store.

Ok but do I also have to do the hp recovery tool from the beginning or is the one I have on the USB fine?What happens if I buy recovery kit can it help or after my clean install windows is no longer possible
