Hello My ssd hard drive recently "died" and I got a new one from a shop (warranty recently ran out!) The shop reinstalled windows but now windows frequently freezes forcing me to reboot. I noticed they used a program program service_kms.exe which I believe is an illegal way to reinstall windows/ office. I had a legal copy of windows when I bought my laptop preloaded with windows10 64. and I have a legal subscription for office 365. How can I correctly reload windows on to my new hard drive? Any help will be very appreciated!

I recommend that you use the HP cloud recovery tool to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
