A month ago I carried my system to a HP service centre because the USB ports were not working I was told that the problem was the windows 11 I upgraded to and was advised to downgrade since they couldn't do it for me due to policies because I wanted my file backed up.

So I decided to get a solid state drive and install Windows 10 in it as my second boot drive but was unable to do that as I couldn't use an external bootable device since my system doesn't recognise external devices even from the BIOS. After watching some videos online I found a way to install it by creating a partition and making system recognise it as external device which I did using easybcd software.

Along the line I mistakenly deleted my windows and I was fortunate enough to install Windows 10 since the partition I created still had a bootable windows in it, After installing windows 10 on my SSD, I located easybcd backup in my HDD documents and restored it and my windows 11 started working again but the windows 10 installed on my SSD stopped. It is sensed during startup but when I click on it I get an error message:

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the cause. To fix the problem:.......

Status: 0xc000000e

This is when it gets complicated

After the error message, if I enter the BIOS setup and exit  from BIOS am able to boot into Windows 10 i.e from my SSD like there wasn't any issue before. When I tried restarting the system, Windows 10 stopped working and only Windows 11 still worked, I tried again and same thing happened. I don't know why windows fails to start until I enter the BIOS and exit. Please I would like to know the cause of this problem and how I can make my system load into Windows 10 properly and can I repair the windows 10 in my SSD from the windows 11 in my HDD without any external requirements.

By the way I plan on returning my system to HP service centre after am able to resolve this issue so they can look into the external ports that are not working since the problem isn't the windows 11.

I hope you won't find my explanation confusing. Thank you for your anticipated reply
