Envy x360 Convertible 15w-158ca
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

Since a few months, I had an activation problem with Windows 10 on my laptop, an Envy x360  Convertible 15w-158ca. The system was telling me that it need a activation key  that I didn't had because it Windows was already installed when I purchase the laptop. I was unable to work with Word or Excel so finally I've called HP and they ask me to restore with the USB stick that I've made for that when I purchase the laptop.

So after the first restores, the activation problem was solved I was still not able to update to Windows 10 1803. I did a nother restore of the system without any changes.

All drivers are updated except those that can't be update  (the installation fails...) like:

-HP Wireless button Driver

-Intel Bluetooth Driver

-Intel Dynamic platform and thermal Framework client Driver

I've tried the Troubleshooter but won't work, tried a lot of things for hours and hours without any success...

Anyone have a clue what can be done to solve this?

Thanks in advance!

Please try the following driver first then reboot

   https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp87501-88000/sp87926.exe

After that download and install

   https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp87501-88000/sp87930.exe

at the end install

   -Intel Bluetooth Driver  and

   -HP Wireless button Driver

Regards.

Hi Banhien,

Many thanks for your help on this! It work pretty straight forward. It took about 5 hours to complete the 1803update but now it's installed.

System works OK now!

The new updates since april 2018 was done succesfully.

Now, the HP Support Assistant require to update the HP Wireless Button Driver and fails everytime, telling me that a newer version is installed.

Have an idea what can cause that the HP Support Assistant doesn't see the newer version of that driver?
