I went in from HP support assistant.  My laptop is registered as one of my devices, so the update was specific to my model.  It is possible that there is no BIOS update yet available for yoiur model.  I also printed 13 pages of instructions from HP customer support to update the BIOS.  My laptop uses an AMD processor, there was also one for Intel.

I download the new setup windows 10 pro iso download from this link. and upgrade my current windows 10. My issue was resolved 🙂 try it if you still facing issues with your windows update.

 When I called Microsoft about this problem, they did the complete Windows ISO download and reinstall that you’re talking about. The problem persists. HP has never responded to my request for information. Looks like I just have to be stuck with no further updates. Thanks.

I don't depend on support assistant or whatever it is called.

 

I look for the driver myself on hp.com

 

If you don't want to look, then you are stuck!

 The first thing that I did was go to HP support. They didn’t have anything to help me. They did not list any bios updates from my laptop.

Whose to know otherwise since we don't know which laptop you actually have. It's a top secret I guess.
