Hi:

If your copy of W7 that is installed currently is activated, you may be able to upgrade to W10 for free by clicking on the blue Update Now button at the link below.

https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/software-download/windows10

See this link below for more info...

https://www.zdnet.com/article/heres-how-you-can-still-get-a-free-windows-10-upgrade/

If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation, select the I don't have a product key option.

Now, if you are still in the same situation where you have the OEM W7 product key on your notebook, but you have an unactivated installation of Windows 7 Ultimate, you can try this...

Make the bootable W10 installation media using the media creation tool at the link below.

If you are asked to enter a product key during the installation, select the I don't have a product key option.

Then let W10 install.

In the activation section, if it shows that windows is not activated, select the change product key option and see if your W7 product key will work.

Thanks a lot

You're very welcome.

Please let us know if you are able to get W10 installed and activated.

@LuigiHai

Here is a procedure from the community Win10 forums for saving and reapplying the Win7 product key -- which I had to use when my HP laptop would not activate after the Win10 Upgrade:  http://www.tenforums.com/tutorials/23354-clean-install-windows-10-directly-without-having-upgrade-fi...

You might not need that, but if activation fails after the upgrade, that will come in handy.
