I am considering buying this laptop, but really unsure whether it will support Windows 11, I checked the processor and it is in the list of windows intel supported processors, but cant find anything about TPM 2! Any help on whether this is a supported laptop for Windows 11 would be amazing. Thanks HP Envy 13-ba0010na 13.3-Inch Full HD Touch-screen Laptop (Natural Silver) (Intel Core i7-10510U, 16...

Hi:
Chapter 1, page 3 of the service manual indicates that the notebook comes with a Trusted Platform Module (TPM) 2.0, firmware based security device.
Maintenance and Service Guide HP Envy 13 Laptop PC
There are instances of W11 not recognizing a 'firmware based' TPM 2.0 security device as a TPM security device.
So, there is a possibility that the notebook won't be able to be directly upgraded to W11, but there are ways to get around that.
If you decide to buy the notebook, check the device manager, and if the TPM 2.0 device is present, it will be listed under a Security Devices category in the device manager.
If it is not listed and the BIOS shows it is enabled, let me know, and I will give you two easy ways to bypass the W11 hardware checks so you can do the upgrade to W11.
Hopefully someday Microsoft will fix the deficiency in W11 where it does not always recognize firmware based TPM security devices.
