HP Laptop PC 15-dw4000 (4Z348AV)
Microsoft Windows 11

I have Windows 11 HOME version.  I believe I interrupted an update thinking it was a virus and now get a message upon boot: Device firmware cannot be found or corrupt along with various BIOS errors 500 501 502.

I have done all the steps recommended on the HP support page multiple times, short cut reset keys WIN B, WIN V, hard restart, load from USB, and have been on several chats with HP support where they insisted on doing same.  Only way I can boot my computer is via the USB, WIN B, process, so each time they complete one of the steps that requires restart, I have to do the long painful USB restore process - sometimes it works, sometimes not.

The last support person did a cloud recovery process that took 2 hours and didn't work.

Wondering if it could be due to WINDOWS 11 HOME version?  HOME is not on the list of OS on the drop down menu.

I called support yesterday and they are sending a Fedex box for me to send my laptop to them for fix since it is under warranty, which I would rather not do, so looking for any ideas here?
