HP 250 15.6 inch G10 Notebook PC (952G0AV)

Hello

I run into some problems with my HP 250 G10 i5-1334U 15 16GB/512 9Y7A8ET while trying to install Win 11. I do not know from exactly where I have to download the file to solve this problem: '' install driver to show hardware''. I downloaded some files like this: https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp146501-147000/sp146929.exe then extracted the F6 file, started to download but when the Windows reach 80-85% to complete the laptop restart and say the same thing: ''install driver to show hardware''.

If somebody can send me the right file to download I will be very happy. The files I tried were from here: https://support.hp.com/ro-en/drivers/hp-250-15.6-inch-g10-notebook-pc/model/2102039803?sku=9Y7A8ET

Hi:

See if the drivers I zipped up and attached below work for you.

Unzip and copy all of the files in the folder in the attachment to a USB flash drive.

Have the flash drive and your Windows installation media plugged into USB ports.

Boot from the Windows installation flash drive.

When you get to the screen where no drives can be found, click on the Load driver option, browse to the flash drive with the storage controller drivers on it.

If you check the box, it will only include the compatible driver.

If Windows still can't find the drive, uncheck the box to include the compatible driver and try any of the ones listed.

Unfortunately is not working. The Windows is installing to 80%, says that the laptop will restart a few time, then restart with the black screen and that box in the second picture and than the ''install driver to show hardware'' reappears and then back to windows 80%.

Sorry that you weren't able to complete installing Windows.

The storage driver I attached yesterday did work or you would not have gotten that far.

Windows would not have found the drive.

So, the only thing I can think of is that there is another driver Windows is asking for when the ''install driver to show hardware'' message appears.

The only one I can think of that it could be is this one:

Intel Gaussian and Neural Networks Accelerator (GNA) Driver.

I have zipped that driver up and attached it below.

See if installing that driver at the screen where you are getting the ''install driver to show hardware'' message.

If that doesn't work, unfortunately, I don't have any other ideas for you to try.
