Hello all,
I am currently trying to reinstall windows 11 on my HP Laptop with a USB drive. Unfortunately when booting to the usb drive and pressing install. The installer then asks for drivers. As per HPs website I download the intel rapid storage technology drivers extract them to the same windows usb drive. And select them on the computer. Windows Recognizes the drivers and allows me to press the next button. After pressing next I get no new devices drivers were found. And I am still not able to select the drive I want to install windows 11 on to. If someone could please tell me what I need to do to fix this issue let me know.
This is the Guide I followed that doesnt work: https://support.hp.com/us-en/document/ish_4859717-4859823-16

Hello @Dre0415 .
Download the F6flpy-x64 (Intel® VMD).zip or preferably the F6flpy-x64-Non VMD).zip driver from the Intel website:
https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/download/19512/intel-rapid-storage-technology-driver-install...
Optional drivers:
1. sp108979.exe
2. https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp108501-109000/sp108985.exe
1. On USB that you used to create the Windows 10 installation media extract the file named F6flpy-x64 (Intel® VMD).zip using Winrar or 7zip, inside the same USB Drive load the missing storage driver, and then install Windows 10 or 11.
2. Before booting the computer, you must first insert the USB drive into a USB port.
3. Start the computer and repeatedly press the Esc key and the F9 key.
4. Select the USB drive (e.g. USB Hard Drive (UEFI) or USB Hard Drive), and press the Enter key.
5. Select the language and keyboard layout, and then click Next.
10. Select Custom: Install Windows only (advanced).
11. Click Load Driver.
12. Click Browse to navigate to the location of the driver.
13. Navigate to the folder where the RST (F6flpy-x64 (Intel® VMD) driver was downloaded, then click OK.

Hi, @Dre0415
This is the driver I give to anyone that is trying to install W10/W11 on any PC with an Intel 11th gen core processor.
https://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp111501-112000/sp111660.exe
You will need to use the free 7-zip file utility to extract the driver exe file into its folder so you can browse to the F6 folder, or I have zipped up and attached that specific folder below.
