Hi, 

 

my HP pavilion laptop stopped working, and it is not covered by warranty. I would like to be able to access the Windows 11 Pro activation key of the laptop, but I have no way of turning on the device. Is there anyway of finding this from the laptop alone? I have all the info from the backplate, frontplate, motherboard, etc.

You can obtain the key by removing the disk drive, attaching it to a USB adapter and running an app as described here

The license is locked to the laptop.  You cannot install win11 pro on another PC and use the HP license unless it is a replacement motherboard.
