Does anyone know if the Spectre x360 Convertible (13-4195nr) will be compatible with Windows 11? The processor is an i7-6500u.
Thanks!

Hi:
The processor is not supported. Needs to be an Intel 8th gen core processor to get the automatic update to W11 when it is ready.
You should be able to run 11 on your notebook in an 'unsupported state.'
Unsupported Windows 11 PCs will get cumulative updates, at least for now (windowslatest.com)
Hopefully after W11 has been out for a while, there will be folks that will be able to tell us if there are any workarounds to get W11 to receive all updates and whatnot.
I am testing W11 on an old HP 8200 Elite CMT with an i7-2600 processor and it works just fine.
Have not had one crash yet.

Thanks for the quick response, Paul!
I guess I'll keep running Win10 until Oct. 2025 and hope that Microsoft adjusts the requirements by then. Alternately as you said, maybe there will be some workarounds that will enable us to get updates.
