I bought an HP laptop w/o OS. Now I am trying to download Windows11 via USB flashdisk, but when the installation asks me to pick a disk on wich to install I can not pick any as they are all offline and I dont know how to turn them online. Thank you for the help.

Thank you very much. In the end I just had to clean the disk and partition it again then it worked fine.

If your HP laptop’s drives are offline during the Windows 11 installation, try these steps:

  1. Check BIOS: Restart your laptop, enter the BIOS (press F2, F10, or Delete on startup), and make sure the drive is set to AHCI mode.

  2. nstall Drivers: If disks are still offline, download HP storage drivers on a USB and load them during the setup.

This should help the installation detect your drives.
