Hi:

If you want to try out W11 on your PC as is, let me know and I will give you two easy ways to bypass the hardware checks and you will be able to retain your currently installed programs and files, as well as a way to go back to W10 if necessary, after the default 'go back to W10' period expires.

I think that grace period is something like 10 days.

How ?

If you want to install W11 on your PC as is, you can bypass the W11 hardware requirements using two easy methods.

The first one is the easiest.

I would make a system image of your current W10 installation prior to updating to W11, so you can easily reinstall W10 in the future.  I used the free Macrium Reflect software to do that, under the Backup at Home section.

Along with the system image, make sure you create the bootable DVD or USB rescue drive you boot from to access the system image stored on your portable hard drive.

Macrium Software | Reflect Free Edition

Read and follow the instructions at the link below.

Windows 11 Upgrade Hack on Any Hardware | Dong Knows Tech

No registry changes needed.  No need to create installation media.  Just download the W11 ISO file, and the guy's zip file.

I have upgraded 11 unsupported W11 PC's to W11, and not one of them have had any issues whatsoever.

They have all gotten all the Windows 11 updates released thus far.

I check those against a PC I have that is fully supported to run W11.

There is also this way you can upgrade to W11, bypassing the hardware checks...

Be aware that the bug-report list in WIN 11 is long and Microsoft is preparing a big update that will be released according the insider channel this summer. In an industrial environment nobody uses WIN 11.

But you can choose the method Microsoft suggests instead of hacked systems with modified DLLs.
That is an official way and it's very easy.
Your Laptop supports TPM 2.0 and it just has to be enabled in BIOS in the security settings.

Just copy the text below into a notepad file and save it as update.reg
Then rightclick on that file and run it as administrator.

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\Setup\MoSetup]
"AllowUpgradesWithUnsupportedTPMOrCPU"=dword:00000001

That's all you have to do. Reboot and you are ready for an upgrade. The easy way to do this is to run an Inplacement. Then all your settings are tranfered to your new system.

But it's advisable that you run the 2 commands in cmd (admin) before you upgrade.

DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

sfc /scannow

If you make a system image as I suggested and a bootable rescue drive to access the system image prior to doing anything, you will have a way to go back to your existing configuration should something go wrong, or for some reason W11 does not work well with your PC.

The first link I posted...all you do is download and save the W11 ISO file from the link below.   Last option.

Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)

Then you unzip this folder I attached below and save it in the same place where you saved the W11 ISO file.

Open the folder and click to run the 'Windows11Upgrade' application and select Windows ISO file, and then select the option to upgrade and keep your files and settings.

Let's put it this way...If I can do it, anyone can.

If you have any questions as you go about this, please do not hesitate to ask.
