Hi @beth246,

Welcome to the HP Support Community!

Thanks for reaching out!

I Understand your concern about  no boot issue, don’t worry let me help you with this.

Let me know if you recently installed any Windows updates or new drivers before the issue started.

Here are a few troubleshooting steps you can try while we gather more details:

  • Check BIOS settings: Restart the laptop, press Esc or F10 to enter BIOS, and ensure that Secure Boot is enabled and the boot order is correct.
  • Run HP Hardware Diagnostics again: Even though hardware passed earlier, run the Extensive Test to double-check storage and memory.
  • Try Safe Mode: If you can boot from recovery media, attempt to enter Safe Mode. This can help isolate driver-related issues.
  • Disable Fast Boot: In BIOS, turn off Fast Boot, as it sometimes interferes with recovery.

If none of these steps work, we may need to look into a clean installation using HP Cloud Recovery,(Data is backed up before reinstallation).

I hope this helps.

I'm an HP Employee.
