Product: HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp112dx

According to the HP website, the Windows 11 upgrade is not available for my laptop HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp112dx.

Can anyone tell me if the Windows 11 upgrade will officially be available for this particular laptop in the near future?

Your HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp112dx (1KS76UA), according to your laptop's specs (HP ENVY x360 - 15m-bp112dx Product Specifications | HP® Customer Support), is fitted with an i7-8550U which is Windows 11 compatible: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows-hardware/design/minimum/supported/windows-11-supported-int....

 

However, I see what you mean, HP's driver support link: https://support.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-envy-15m-bp100-x360-convertible-pc/16851048/mode... does not offer Windows 11 as an OS driver update option.

 

There could possibly be driver issues if you upgrade to W11, but why not try it for 90 days (or less), and if you run into problems, you can easily return to W10: https://www.pcmag.com/how-to/how-to-upgrade-to-windows-11-for-free.


Please note: Windows 10 will continue to be supported by Microsoft at least until October 14, 2025: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/lifecycle/products/windows-10-home-and-pro, so you'll have time to decided what to do.
