Product: Pavilion dv6
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

I had pre installed windows 7 (home premium) earlier. Because of some errors that I'm faceing I installed windows 8.1 .Now I need to reinstall windows 7 again.But my windows 7 recovery DVD 's got damaged and need help to get the windows recovery.

 

Waiting for someone's help to solve it.

Sorry, but the honest situation is that you are most likely, out of luck.

 

No one, including HP, has stocked Win 7 recovery media for years now -- not even the online alternative suppliers.

 

You would have to resort to reinstalling Win7 from scratch, but then, you would lose the HP drivers that are essential to the laptop working properly.
