Can the Laptop COMPAQ Presario CQ57-339WM be upgraded from Windows 7 to Windows 10?

Will this upgrade cost me purchasing a Windows license key ?

All available Windows updates have been  installed

BIOS updated to F.39

Hi:

 

Your notebook is not supported by HP for W10, and there are no drivers for it.

 

It is possible that W10 would work fine but the only way to know for sure would be to try it and see.

 

Even though the free upgrade to W10 ended well over 4 years ago, there is still a way to get the upgrade for free.

 

See the info below.

 

Here's how you can still get a free Windows 10 upgrade | ZDNet

 

To upgrade to W10, click on the blue Update Now button at the link below.

 

Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)

 

You have 30 days to go back to W7 if things don't work right on W10 as long as you don't delete any files..
