I could be wrong here, as others here have more access to older Windows stuff than me, but basically, I don't think you are going to be able to do this. You would need an HP OEM version of Windows and they no longer carry recovery media for any OS older than Windows 10. Without that, you are stuck using MS media, but I don't believe they offer Win8x downloads anymore. And I don't think the online places that regularly sell Windows carry 8.x anymore, either.
