Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

Hi I had issue login into my laptop a few days ago that had windows 10 as my biometric and password wouldn't let me get in. So I had to factory reset my laptop and restore back to windows 8. This is the second time this happened since I purchased my laptop back in 2013. The first restore a few years ago was successful and windows allowed me to reactivate the windows product key. Now this time, after a factory reset with full wipe , windows is saying that my product key is valid not longer. When I purchase this laptop it came with windows 8 pre-installed. Any suggestion. I tried buying new a key through Microsoft but it's not allowing me.

Hi:

Run the free utility that I zipped up and attached below and it will show you the Windows product key and the version of Windows the key is good for.

If the installed key is different than the OEM key, change the installed key to the OEM key and see if that works.
