Basically, I was installing some Windows updates like I always do, and noticed an HP-specific update and downloaded and installed it. It was asking for a restart and so I did. It boots back up and goes to the bios update, I was fine with this. Then the update finished and put me into a state where the screen was on (I could see it glowing) but there was no picture or response. I waited for a very long time and nothing happened so I just forced the computer off and went about my day, hoping that it would fix somehow. I come back and turn on the laptop and the same thing happens. Fans spin up and the screen is black for a while then goes to a state where the screen is on but there is no picture. I think it is a bios issue and I tried some fixes including using Win+B to recover, but the same thing happened. I also tried to create a bios recovery utility using the HP application on a different PC. I inserted the USB and held Win+B, but the same thing, was on the screen but there was no picture. Any help would be appreciated and I would really like to fix this as I paid a pretty good amount of money for this laptop. Thank you very much.
