4N743UA#ABA is my product. I have Windows 11 with all updates. I am unable to configure Windows Hello for facial recognition. It says it is missing files for facial recognition. I have reinstalled Windows 11 from a clean copy from Windows/Microsoft support website without any luck. Help please!

Did you install from the HP Cloud recovery?
However, try this driver first:
There is a May 22, 2024 driver for Windows 11 24H2
It is for the 845 G7 notebook To download click here
it may work
question: if you enter CAMERA in the windows search bar what shows UP?
Do you get an image or an error?
If an image shows up then you just need to fix the windows files using SFC
SFC and DISM are both tools that scan and repair corrupted system files. However, SFC uses a cached version of the files, while DISM uses the internet to download and fix the files.
Try the SFC first and if that gives a message that it cannot fix the problem then try the DISM tool.
