Product: ENVY 17 Notebook PC
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hi, I am using ENVY 17 Note PC since 2015 and whenever I restarted my system its asking activate Windos Operating system but I lost my product key. Can any one guide me how can I get my Windows OS product key from HP.

Sorry, but HP keeps no record of individual product keys associated with individual PCs, so there's no way to get that info from HP.

Curious, though -- as the HP OEM license that comes with HP PCs never expires -- so I have no idea why yours expired, unless your version of Win8.1 is not the OEM verion.

However, you can try using this utility to retrieve the product key from the PC firmware:  http://www.majorgeeks.com/mg/getmirror/windows_oem_product_key_tool,1.html
