Hi:

I have two suggestions for you:

1. Try the manual install of the update by downloading the version of the update from the Microsoft Update catalog website for the release of W10 you are running.

Microsoft Update Catalog

For example:  if you are running W10 22H2, download and install the 7th file on the list.

2. If that doesn't work either, you can hide the update from installing and failing by running the Microsoft Hide Windows Update utility at the link below.

Unzip and run the file.  It will scan for Windows updates waiting to be installed.

When the program stops scanning, check the box to hide KB5029244.

The tool will run again and report the problem is 'Fixed.'

Restart the PC and you shouldn't be bothered again by the update that won't install.

I have downloaded and safed your link Microsoft Hide Windows Update utility in case it would happen again.
