Ok. so I bought this laptop over a year ago. I have been running Windows 10 ever since last night without any issues with the auto updates. Last night I ran updates and did a restart like normal from the power options list. After it rebooted I got a blue screen asking for a Bitlocker recovery key. I have never heard of this until last night and I am already pissed off because now I cannot get into my OS. I have never turn on anything related to Bitlocker and I have photos and documents that are very important. Have others run into this after updating to Windows 11? I didn't even think I was going to be forced to switch over. I have tried going into my MS account to manage Bitlocker keys, but I never added them because I didn't know what this program was in the first place. I can't even do advanced troubleshooting options or even factory reset the computer using the erase everything option. This is absolutely insane and I don't know who to reach out to.
