Microsoft Windows 11

We have had massive issues with our HP Laptops (15s-du1031tx) doing Windows 11 Updates for over 12 months now.

Both my partner and I have the same laptop with the exact same issue, it makes windows updates terrifying because it renders both of our laptops useless at the same time. To avoid this we try to sleep / hibernate only but windows always eventually does its thing and resets / updates automatically. We run a business together from these so bad timing can really ruin our day if we happen to be running an event when this happens.

So EVERY TIME windows does an update both laptops will fail to boot into windows correctly.

They zip to the login screen, we log in and then all we get is a flashing mouse cursor on a black screen.

I noticed today that when I CTRL + ALT + DEL and load task manager it shows "Windows Explorer" for a second, then it disappears, then reappears, the disappears.... This is all that happens for hours.

The way to fix it is usually to go and roll back the "Latest Windows Quality Update", but sometimes the "Latest feature update" needs to be rolled back also.

Is there any way to fix this issue permanently. It's clearly a HP / Windows issue as it is happening on both of our systems, I'm surprised that after all this time there hasn't been a fix released into the public to stop this happening.

Thanks
