HP Desktop, having s/n:>Do not include the product serial number or any private information<

Inbuild product key was there. but from last 1 month we are getting that windows activation failed and asking for product key

If your PC came with Windows from HP and not FreeDOS, the only suggestion I can offer would be to download and install the free Showkey Plus app from the Microsoft Store.

 

ShowKeyPlus - Free download and install on Windows | Microsoft Store

 

Run the app, and it should provide a report that shows the Installed Windows product key, the OEM Windows product key and the version of Windows the OEM product key is good for.

 

If the Installed key is different from the OEM key, change the installed key to the OEM key in the PC settings menu, and you should be able to activate Windows with the OEM product key.
