I was using windows 10... Then i hav installed kali linux... After tha56ibhave foramtted everything . Now my laplap is blank... I wajt to install windows 8.1..when i try to install throgth pendrive.. It shows windows cant be installed on this drive.. MBR or GPT error... Partituon issues... I want my files back too... Please help me

If you formatted the drive your files are gone. For the GPT or MBR error which is it? Have you tried first deleting the partition/partitions you have on hard drive before installing? Windows will create a partition on unallocated space after deleting.

Will i get my formatted files? After installing new os... Is there any software to restore my F drive... I had personal files in that... I have cleaned it using commands.. Clean disk 0 and 1...i want to reatore those files.. Will i get that back?
