Windows configuration update (KB5035942) change screen to green

I updated my windows configuration update (KB5035942) on my HP laptop, and it changed my screen to green and red, making it difficult to see anything. I attempted to restore my laptop to an earlier date, but that didn't resolve the issue. I need assistance fixing this update.
