I need help please. I work from home and my laptop suddenly will not connect to the internet. It says "windows could not find a driver for your network adapter". I have tried a system restore twice but it keeps telling me there was an error in doing that. I don't have another laptop or computer to use to download new drivers. Please help

Hi:
If the wifi adapter needs a driver, there will be a device listed in the device manager labeled as a network controller.
Go to the device manager, find the Network Controller device and post the hardware ID for it so I can figure out what driver it needs.
Use this guide for how to find the hardware ID for a device.
How to Find Drivers for Unknown Devices in the Device Manager (howtogeek.com)
I will need to know what Windows operating system you need the driver for (Windows 7, 8, 8.1 or Windows 10).

Thanks for jumping in - after 3 hours on with support and resetting my entire computer, I seem to have WiFi access back. Unfortunately it now seems my computer isn't a touch screen anymore! What's next?! Know of any way to get the touchscreen feature back?
