One day out of the blue, somehow my laptop was erased, recovery/backup media did not work. I've tried to reinstall Windows several times, both 10 and 11 (as it upgraded to 11 before the crash,) nothing. I've followed all of HP's directions from "Boot Device not found. Please install an operating system on your hard disk. Hard Disk (3FO)" including the HP System Recovery Tool,
When booting it starts on a blue screen, gets your hopes up that it's going to work, then displays error "[14:24:50.12](Startnet) Error, Get Failure from Dynamic Recovery Tool".
I don't know what this means or what else to do at this point. Why does the HP repair not work? I have supplied the the correct serial number, downloaded up to date software and drivers, (put in a folder to use during setup install, it disappears when i need to load a driver) every time fails to recover the laptop.

Did you run the hard drive diagnostics test (F2)?
Usually when Windows won't boot up out of the blue, and you get a Boot device not found error, that means the hard drive has failed and needs to be replaced.
If you know that there is no problem with the hard drive, unfortunately, sometimes the recovery media doesn't work and there is usually nothing you can do about it.
When the HP cloud recovery tool media fails to recover the PC, you can always clean install Windows by making a bootable USB installation flash drive with the Media creation tool from the links below:
If you want to reinstall W10, use this link:
Download Windows 10 (microsoft.com)
If you want to reinstall W11, use this link (2nd option):
Download Windows 11 (microsoft.com)
After W10 has completed iinstalling you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
