I recently had my laptop HDD dying after suffering fatal 3F0 error. I intend to buy a replacement HDD but my question is whether I can somehow bring my copy of windows 10 to replacement HDD? Will really appreciate your kind response.
Regards
Jalal

Hi:
Your notebook should be supported by the HP cloud recovery tool which you can use with another Windows PC, running W7 64 bit or newer to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook.
Here is an info link for how to use the cloud recovery tool.

Since the W10 product key is in the BIOS of the PC, you can also clean install W10 for free by making bootable installation media using the media creation tool at the link below.

After W10 has completed installing you can install the drivers and available software from your notebook's support page.
