Elitebook 850G6
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Since yesterday a couple laptops completely freezes at a customer. They're using Elitebooks 850G6, Windows 10 and are configured with Intune. We've done the following things:

- BIOS updatet to latest version

- BIOS reverted to older versieon

- HP Support Assistant tool installed and updated the drivers

- Within Intune disabled drivers

- Windows update up to date

- Software distribution map emptied.
- No recovery points available
- HP R70 system firmware geupdate, rebooted but message stills come backs
- HP Support Assistant deleted.
- Laptop crashes entirely, no network connection available (e.g. ping fails)
 - Laptop announces a system update installations.

- HP System Firmware temporarily disabled.

We have installed all updates locally. We don't have the time to check the eventvwr, the machine is not responsible within a couple of minutes. The only thing we can find is a kernel proces that was dumped.

We identified that the problem relies within the drivers of the webcam. When disabled, the laptops don't freeze. When enabled and the use of the camera app or Teams, then the laptop will crash.

It's possibly not the driver itself. We have this problem also with external cameras on the laptop. Apparently it's not bound to the same generation, G6 and G5 both have the same problem.

We've edited various regkey options (EnableServerFrameMode), didn't help. We don't get a reference in eventvwr, because we don't get a BSOD.

Anyone?
