Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi i recently installed a new wd sdd sn 550 but now i am unable to install windows neither in harddrive nor in ssd. The message displays as "We couldn't install Windows in the location you chose. Please check your media drive. Here's more info about what happened: 0x80300001" what's the solution.

When you install Windows, you need only ONE drive connected -- not two.  So, to install Windows to the SSD, disconnect the HDD and then retry the installation.

You can try the below methods to fix the Error code 0x80300001; so that you can install the Windows 10 smoothly:

 

Method 1: By reselecting the partition

Method 2: By disconnecting all the unnecessary external drives

Method 3: By deleting disk partition
