hi, today I did a clean installation of windows 10 64 bit at the time of installation I had to download the intel rst driver to show windows the nvme m2 ssd, at the moment I clicked on ok there were 2 options to choose from 1) intel rst controller 2) intel rst vm managed I chose the first one, but for safety I would like to know if I did well

Hi:
You had the option to choose either one, so you are good either way.
See Step 11 in the link below..."Select either driver option in the list and then click Next."

I think you are missing the point.
The instructions state that you can use either one. That means that either one should work.
The instructions did not say try the first one and if the first one didn't work, try the second one.
What I'm saying is that if one of the two drivers was a wrong driver to use, Windows would not have found the hard drive if the driver was wrong.
