The computer restarted unexpectedly or encountered an unexpected error. Windows installation cannot proceed. To install Windows, click “OK” to restart the computer, and then restart the installation. Every time I click ok it restarts and keeps saying the exact same thing and isn’t doing anything

Was you trying to do windows update?

No my uncle bought this laptop from someone and we done a factory reset and when you try to reboot it just keeps showing this message not sure if it’s try to load Windows 7 or trying to load to Windows 10 that they put on the laptop

It could be corrupted Windows system files that caused the laptop to fail to boot during or after the reset. Since you were already trying to reset it, I assume there is no important data left on the laptop that you need to recover, correct?

If so, I recommend creating a Windows 10 bootable USB drive using another working Windows PC, then performing a clean installation of Windows 10 from that USB.

Follow the Windows 10 section of Microsoft’s guide here:

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/install-upgrade/create-installation-media-for...

(You don't have to pay or buy anything for this. You do not need a Windows product key to use the Windows 10 Media Creation Tool or to create a bootable USB. During setup, if Windows asks for a key, select “I don’t have a product key.”)
